Hello and welcome! I'm Pegah Ahmadi, a UX Design connoisseur with a globe-trotting career that's seen me weave creativity across continents, from windy corners of Chicago to soggy streets of Seattle, and beyond to Europe and Asia. My design journey is as diverse as my geographical footprint, spanning digital and physical product design, with a sprinkle of graphic design magic.
At the heart of my work at Nike is a commitment to crafting design systems that resonate on a global scale, bridging user needs with business vision. My canvas has been diverse: from evolving Grubhub's visual narrative to planting seeds of knowledge in the minds of budding designers at universities in Turkey, Iran, and the United States.
I'm not just a designer; I'm a storyteller, an educator, and a systems thinker. My classrooms have ranged from university halls, where I was honored with an excellence in teaching award, to international stages at TypeCon and Typographics, sharing insights that ripple through the design world. My approach combines the structural rigor of systems thinking with the creative narrative of storytelling, shaping experiences that resonate both intellectually and emotionally.
My work, a blend of function and art, has graced the halls of international exhibitions, a testament to my belief that good design is not just seen, it's experienced. It's this belief that drives my mission: to not just design, but to inspire, to educate, and to elevate the design conversation.

My background spans three design disciplines (digital product design, graphic design, and physical product design)and geographically beyond North America (Europe and Asia). I transplanted to Chicago and lived there for 9 years. I now call Seattle home.
Whether a systems designer or an educator, my professional focus is on helping designers do their best job. Currently, I'm establishing a design system at Front. Previously, as a Systems Designer, I helped evolve the visual language and interaction principles at Grubhub by defining and extending a cross-platform, cross-product design system.
As an educator, I have taught typography, poster design, and digital media courses at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Başkent University in Turkey, and the University of Applied Science and Technology in Iran where I was granted excellence in teaching award.
I've spoken at TypeCon, Typographics, and Typeforce. My work has been exhibited at the GDFS International Exhibition in Scotland, Eikones in Switzerland, and Design Museum of Chicago.
